Snacks

At GraceWay Academy, we are eager to encourage HEALTHY eating habits during our snack times and lunch (for elementary & camp).

Our PRESCHOOL children will eat snack during the day with their classroom. We are a PEANUT-FREE school and encourage FRUITS & VEGGIES for snack time.

We rely on PARENT contributions to our snack supply. You can sign up for bringing snacks, and we will give specific quantities and suggestions.

Our ELEMENTARY students may bring a dry snack for morning snack time which is during journal writing time. They also should bring their own lunch from home.

Grace CAMP children (11:45 am – 1:45 pm) also bring a lunch to eat during their camp time after school on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Please remember that we have many food allergies in the school, and do not bring any peanut products.

SNACK SUGGESTIONS!

FRUITS/SWEETS

  • APPLESAUCE
  • FRUIT- bananas, grapes, apples, strawberries, etc.

CRUNCHY

  •  POPCORN (already popped preferred)
  •  CHEESE PUFFS or BALLS
  •  GOLDFISH
  •  PRETZELS
  •  CRACKERS & CHEESE CRACKERS
  •  VEGGIES-washed & cut please

 

  •  CHEESE-hard, string, or squeeze type
  •  NO PEANUT BUTTER AT ALL PLEASE
  •  100% REAL JUICE – any variety EXCEPT NOT Purple Grape (White grape is fine)
